So, Welcome to our Blog!
We wanted to make a few preliminary comments about our Blog just to clarify what we're doing -- and not doing -- here:
- First of all, just so everybody knows, and to remind the two of us, neither of us is an expert in gay male relationships. This is the first relationship either of us has been in and we're just going to use the Blog to share with you how we're making this work. Every person and every relationship is different and we don't claim to be saying the way our relationship works will (or should) work for anybody else.
- You may be reading our Blog for different reasons, and we plan to keep 3 reasons in mind while writing it: (1) Maybe you're gay and you've never been in a relationship but wants one and you're wanting to get a glimpse into how we're doing it; (2) Maybe you're in a relationship and we can all learn some things from each other; (3) Maybe you just want to go on this journey with us by offering your insights, sharing in our discoveries, celebrating our love and offering your support.
- It's a shame that we feel the need to say this, but, if you have a problem with reading about gay relationships then you've landed on the wrong site. If you have an open mind and have no intention of doing any bashing or spreading hate, then you're welcome here. We want this Blog to be a safe space for the two of us and, of course, our readers. Comments that spread hate will not be tolerated. If you leave a comment, please just follow the normal rules of courtesy. Specifically, everyone is a guest here so please act accordingly. Thanks!
- We're starting off with the intention of posting something every day, or at least 5 or 6 times a week (gotta leave ourselves some leeway there!). Some days we'll have a lot to post and other days it might just be light fare. It's all going to depend on what's happening and time constraints. Some posts will be written by Matt, some by Brad and others will be a joint effort. You can see who wrote the post by looking at the end where it says, "Posted by..."
- We also plan on including some book reviews, movies reviews and current affair issues that interest us (and we hope you also).
- How you can participate: Please feel free to make comments on our posts. We just ask that you please be courteous and respectful. If you have any suggestions for how we might improve the Blog, or if you have suggestions on topics you might want us to write about, or if you want to send us a private email, please go to the Email Us tab.
