Boston's Cupid Underwear Run

Guess what's happening at noon today in Boston?

I know many of you will be shocked, shocked to learn that I like this sort of thing! But it's true.

This is actually for a very good cause. Here's their promo:

This Valentine's Day weekend, come put the hilarity in charity with hundreds of half-naked runners taking to the streets in celebration of their fundraising for the Children's Tumor Foundation.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the world’s largest non-government organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) through research.
Since this is for a good cause, I'm supporting it. The fact that there will be half-naked guys running in their underwear is just icing on the cake -- so to speak!

More info and pics here.

  1. Matt, when you say support, do you mean:

    You're going to run?

    Keep the runners warm?

    Go watch the run?

Kidding! It's a great cause. My sister was 10 1/2 when she got cancer. She was in the kid's section of the cancer hospital. It was the hardest thing to see the sick young ones but the babies got to me the most. Thanks for the info. And the pics :)

  2. Hi Matty,

Great! This is an excellent charity to support.

Just please, be sure your tongue doesn't get stuck to the snow on the ground. You know how uncomfortable it can get when drool freezes! :-)

You and Bradley enjoy your weekend. :)

  9. I hope they got it finished before this latest blizzard struck. I think most people are definitely ready for spring! But seeing some nice bodies along the way does sure warm the heart!

  10. Hi Matty,

A follow-up from NYC: found out there was a Cupid Undie Run on the Westside of Manhattan yesterday. Fortunately it got finished before the snow started to fall, again! I went over and saw it and thought of you and Bradley the entire time. Hope you got a chance to see yours. :)
