I also thought it would be fun and interesting to hear about books you consider to be treasures. I'm not sure if you'd like to share some titles of books you came across while you were growing up, or if you'd like to share titles of books you've read recently.
If you'd like to participate, I'll leave that up to you. But what I'm particularly interested in is us sharing titles that have some kind of special meaning to you on a very personal level.
It might be a childhood book that opened up the world of reading for you, or it might be a book that helped you see yourself or the world in a new light.
It might be a book that opened your eyes in some profound and significant way and helped make your world a bigger place.
Or it might have been a book you got as a gift from someone special and the book has special and sentimental significance for you.
I'll get things started today, so please feel free to share your Treasures along with a brief comment about why the book is special to you. But don't feel any pressure to offer a comment if you'd rather just list some titles. Either way is fine.
Maybe we can all get some good title suggestions based on books that have meant something special to each of us.
My first title is the most recent discovery... the one I wrote about in my last post, Memorizing You by Dan Skinner. Just scroll down to the post below to see why it's in my Treasures category.
My second title is Second Chances by Tom Web. Again, I wrote an enthusiastic post about this magnificent book a while back, and you can read about it here.
My third title is My Summer of Wes by Missy Welsh. This was the very first MM Romance book I ever read right after I turned 18 years old. It still holds a special place in my heart. You can read my post where I talked about it here.
Now.... what about you? Do you have certain books you consider Treasures that you'd like to share with us here? Remember, you can just list titles only, or titles with a brief comment summarizing why you consider it a Treasure.
We'll probably be featuring more opportunities periodically to share other Treasures you have, so why don't we maybe limit your titles for now to three. Can't wait to see what everyone lists.
